12 Year Old Rescued After Falling in Storm Drain in Frackville

A 12 year was rescued Monday after falling in a storm drain.
Just before 5pm, Monday, emergency personnel were called to 3rd and Arch St, Frackville, a child who had fallen in a storm drain.

The Frackville Goodwill, West End Dive Team Mahanoy City, and Schuylkill Haven Dive Team responded along with the Shenandoah ALS and Frackville BLS.

According to sources, the victim, a 12 year old female, fell into the storm drain on 2nd and Arch St., traveled through the drain pipe and came out of the creek on 3rd and Arch St..

The female was found about 150 yards down the creek.

She is reportedly banged up but should recover.

The departments who responded today should be recognized for their quick response and rescue.
