Ashland played nail biter against Montoursville in Wellsboro PA Monday evening and but in the end Ashland came out on top.
The team was was done 13 to 8 at the top of the 6th inning and was able to gain 4 runs making it 13-12. The bases were loaded with 2 outs when Tanner Walacavage came to bat. He had 2 strikes when he was able to hit a triple getting 3 more runs and also scoring again on a wild pitch.
Evan Stanakis who pitched the final inning for Ashland held off Montoursville for the win!
Ashland's next game is Tuesday night at 8pm under the lights in Wellsboro against either Selinsgrove or Wellsboro. We were unable to find who won their game Monday.
