Mahanoy Area Finds Second Threat in Two Days

For the second day in a row, the Mahanoy Area School District dismissed their students early due to a threat found in the school bathroom.


According to WNEP, a the first threat was found Tuesday in a boys bathroom and Wednesday's was found in a girls bathroom.

School functions had been cancelled for the day Wednesday while the investigation continues.

Mahanoy City Police are investigating and are reportedly to have a presence at the school on Thursday.
