Just before 10pm Sunday evening, emergency personnel were called to 48 Chee Street, Ryan Township for a reported house fire.
When crews arrived they found a nearby garage fully involved with flames beginning to spread to the home.
The garage was completely destroyed and there was heavy damage to the rear of the home.
No injuries were reported.
Emergency personnel from Ryan Twp., Mahanoy City, Hometown, Delano, and Quakake helped fight the blaze.
