Jeep Recalls Over 200,000 Vehicles

Over 200,000 Jeep Grand Cherokees are being recalled for a software problem where it's causing airbags to deploy, even when there is no crash.


The vehicles involved are about 170,000 model year 2014 and 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokees in the U.S. as well as roughly 20,000 in Canada, 4,000 in Mexico another 36,4000 outside North America.

The company is said to notify customers who own a vehicle that is part of the warranty.  Customers with questions can call Jeep at 800-854-1403.
