Diocese Selling Stained Glass Windows from Closed Churches

The Allentown Diocese is going to selling the stain glass windows from closed Schuylkill County churches.

According to the Morning Call, Next Saturday, October 31st,  more than 200 pieces of stained glass from 13 closed churches, one open church and a convent will be offered for sale at St. Elizabeth of Hungary in Whitehall Township, Lehigh County.



The following Schuylkill County churches' stained glassed windows will be for sale,
Our Lady of Good Counsel, Gordon;
St. Casimir, Mahanoy City; 
St. George, Shenandoah; 
St. Joseph Convent, Ashland; 
St. Kieran, Heckscherville; 
St. Mary of the Assumption, McAdoo; 
St. Mauritius, Ashland; 
St. Stanislaus, Shenandoah;
