Around 4:30am Monday, fire crews were called to 522 East Front Street for a working structure fire.
When crews arrived they found the home fully involved and flames quickly spread to 524 East Front Street.
Both homes were destroyed in the fire but there is no word if anyone lived in the homes.
Fire units from Tamaqua and Coaldale assisted Carbon County units in fighting the blaze.
