Schuylkill County Snow Emergencies & Parking Bans


The following Snow Emergencies are or will be in effect for the weekend.

Auburn
Snow Emergency Enacted

Ashland
EFFECTIVE: Saturday January 23, 2016 from 2AM TO 6AM
Parking will be prohibited on Hoffman Boulevard from Brock Street to Centre Street and also on Centre Street from Front Street to 23rd Street.
Residents are ordered to move their cars from these locations between 2AM and 6AM.
Any vehicles that are not moved from the above locations will be fined $50 and towed away at the owner’s expense.

Cressona
Snow emergency in effect from 7 p.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Sunday

Girardville
Parking bans on Preston Avenue, Lower Railroad, Second, C, B, A, Ogden Streets


Mahanoy City (Declaration of Disaster)
Mayor has issued a snow parking ban. There will be NO PARKING between Midnight and 7am on the following streets: Centre St. , Main St. , South St from 2nd Street west to Borough line. Please let your neighbors know.

McAdoo
Parking Ban in effect from Midnight Friday Night to Noon Sunday

Minersville
Snow emergency from 5 p.m. Friday to 5 p.m. Sunday. No parking on Sunbury and Front Streets.

Palo Alto
Due to the impending snow storm, Palo Alto residents are to move all vehicles from all posted snow emergency routes in the borough, including the north side of Savory Street, by 7 PM Friday (1/22/16). Vehicles not moved by 7 PM Friday will be towed at the owner's expense.

Pine Grove
Snow Emergency that will go into effect Saturday morning at 6:00 A.M.
Port Carbon
All Port Carbon residents on the Snow Emergency Routes. Please move your vehicle as the plow will be coming thought. It is a Declaration and vehicle will be ticketed and can be towed. 9 pm tonight until noon Sunday unless noted otherwise. Thank You for your help

Pottsville
Snow emergency level 2 with parking ban in effect from 9 p.m. Friday to 3 p.m. Sunday

Ringtown
Snow emergency issued

Schuylkill Haven
No parking on snow emergency routes from 9 p.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Sunday

Sheppton
Residents on W Pine St in Sheppton should park all vehicles on the left side "south side" of the road to allow for plowing.

St. Clair
There will be no parking the entire length of second street and on Hancock street effective 5pm Friday the 22nd until 1pm Sunday the 24th violators will be given tickets and vehicle will be towed this is due to the upcoming storm so that penndot can plow from curb to curb

Tremont
Snow emergency in effect from 10 p.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Sunday
