Carol A. Williams, 82, of Tower City, passed away Friday at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon.

Born in Kingston, August 18, 1934, a daughter of the late Charles and Beulah Snyder Miller.

Carol was a 1953 graduate of the former Porter Township High School.

She retired after 36 years from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Labor and Industry.

She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Chapel, Tower City. She was also a social member of the Williamstown American Legion #123. Carol enjoyed reading and socializing with family and friends.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a brother, Karl Miller.

Surviving are her husband of 63 years, Eugene Williams; two brothers, Lyle Miller, Virginia and Russell Miller, Reading, Nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Tuesday, February 7th at 10:00 am from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc. Tower City with Rev. Jason Stokes. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery, Williamstown. Viewing will be from 9-10 am. Memorial donations in her name should be made to Sts. Paul F. Staerk, Sr., 84, Ringtown, passed away Friday, February 3rd, 2017.

Paul was born in Philadelphia, on May 30, 1932, a son of the late Catherine (Shearn) and James Staerk. He served his country in the United States Army after graduating high school in Philadelphia.

Paul worked for the former Philadelphia Water Department, now Aqua American Inc. in Philadelphia until retiring to the Ringtown area.

A former member of St. John's of the Cross Church, he was currently a member of St. Mary's Church in Ringtown.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Virginia Staerk of Ringtown.

He was preceded by a son, John in 2013 and by four brothers and sisters.

Paul is also survived by two daughters, Pati Kennedy, of Michigan and Virginia Landis, of Ashland;
and by two sons Paul, Jr. , of Zion Grove and Jim, of Ringtown.

He is also survived by a brother, Larry, of Jenkinstown and by 14 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren, along with nieces and nephews.

Relatives and Friends are invited to a viewing on Thursday, February 9th from 6-8 PM at the Stauffer-Breznik Funeral Home, 412 West Main Street, Ringtown, and again on Friday morning, February 10th from 9:30-10:30 at St. John's of the Cross Church, 2741 Woodland Road, Roslyn, PA, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM.

Burial will take place at the Hillside Cemetery in Roslyn, immediately following the mass.
