Robert H Foose, age 88, of Ashland, PA, passed away on Monday, May 29, 2017. Husband of Theresa Emala Foose, they were married on December 3, 1950.

Born on October 19, 1928, in Brandonville, PA to the late Charles E. and Margaret (VanHorn ) Foose.
Bob was a tire builder at B.F. Goodrich in Oaks, PA. He also served as the first police chief in East Coventry Township, PA. In retirement, he found delight in learning a new trade of shoe repair and owned and operated Bob’s Shoe Repair on Centre Street, Ashland, PA. He was honored to repair Penn State’s Nittney Lion and get him back on the field as good as new. Bob was an active member of the Lavelle Church of the Nazarene. He was an avid prayer warrior, praying for and encouraging everyone he met.

Survived by his wife, Theresa; sons, Robert J Foose (Beverly) of Downingtown, PA; Matthew C. Foose of Pottstown, PA; daughters, Sophia M (Foose) , wife of C. Wesley Miller of Elverson, PA; Cynthia M (Foose) Yost of Pottstown, PA; Sally Anne Foose of Spring City, PA; and grandchildren: Scott E. Yost of Pottstown; Diane E. Foose of Sewell, NJ; Clarence W. Miller Jr. of State College, PA; and Alan R. (Caitlyn) Foose of King of Prussia, PA; great-granddaughter Madalynn Yost of Pottstown, PA. Robert was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Charles, Benjamin, Harold, Raymond and Orville Foose.

Graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Celebration of Life services will be held at Ebenezer Bible Chapel, 289 Warwick Furnace Rd., Elverson, PA on Saturday, June 24th at 10am and at Lavelle Church of the Nazarene 2879 Fairgrounds Rd, Lavelle PA on July 8th, at 1:00 P.M. Kull-Heizenroth Funeral Home, Ashland, PA is in charge of arrangements.

Carl W Wetzel, age 86, of Barry Twp, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Friday, June 2, 2017 at his residence.

He was born on Saturday, September 27, 1930, in Mt Carmel, a son of the late William E Wetzel and the late Lottie E Hepler Wetzel.

He worked in area coal mines prior to his retirement.

He was a faithful member of Muir Foursquare Gospel Church, Muir.

Carl enjoyed gardening, hunting, cutting wood, and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife Gladys Header Wetzel; an infant son Paul Wetzel; and two brothers, James Wetzel and Raymond Wetzel.

He is survived by his wife Doris M Rabuck Wetzel, to whom he was married for 55 years.

He is also survived by six daughters, Jamie Tyler of Tremont, June Greco and her husband Charles of Danville, Connie Smith and her husband Andrew of Christiansburg, VA, Donna Boyer and her husband Paul of Danville, Ann Beruck and her husband Al of Hegins, and Gladys Wetzel and her husband Damian of Hegins; son, Carl Wetzel, Jr and his wife Michelle of Barry Twp; sixteen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; a brother, Ralph Wetzel of Hegins; a sister, Ruth Zabor of Cupertino, CA; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at Muir Foursquare Gospel Church, Muir, on Tuesday, June 6, 2017, at 11:00 am, with Pastor Luke Heald and Pastor Gregory Mitchell officiating.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Tuesday at the church.

Burial will be made in Barry Salem Cemetery, Weishample.
