Dolores S. (Heddish) Kutchinsky (Dolores, Mom, MomMom Dee, Aunt Dolores, Dimples) Frackville, age 81, passed away on July 2nd, 2017 at Seton Manor in Orwigsburg, PA.

She grew up in Frackville, PA. As a child she enjoyed music and dance and collecting snapshots. She was a 1953 graduate of Frackville High where she was a member of the Leaders Club, chorus, and the band as a flag twirler and majorette. After graduation, she married and raised her family until her sons were grown when she began waitressing at Manbeck’s Restaurant and the Dutch Kitchen in Frackville.

She was preceded in death by her parents Michael Heddish, Josephine (Yakimovich) Heddish; husband Charles Kutchinsky Sr. and Granddaughter Alexandria Kutchinsky.

She is survived by three children: Chas Kutchinsky, Jr. (Susan); David Kutchinsky (Janice) and Kenneth Kutchinsky (Patti). She also leaves behind three grandchildren, Kelly Kutchinsky Gigliotti, Nicole Kutchinsky McFetridge and Lauren Kutchinsky Kurdinsky and three great grandchildren Maya Gigliotti, Ella Gigliotti and Keira McFetridge.

She took pride in her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and will be missed by all.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, Annunciation BVM Church, Frackville with Fr. Robert T. Finlan, pastor, as the celebrant. Interment will be in St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, Englewood, Frackville.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made, in Dolores’s name, to the American Cancer Society at 101 W. Frack Street Frackville, PA 17931

Ricky R. “Rick” Miller, 62, Girardville, passed away peacefully early Sunday morning at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest, Allentown, with his wife and step-children by his side.

Born in Danville, he was a son of the late Eleanor Faux Miller. He worked as an insurance agent for American General and later as a case manager for Northwestern Academy in Coal Township until his retirement.

Rick served on the Girardville Borough Council for 3 years, most recently as the code enforcement officer and notary public. He dedicated his time to the youth of Girardville as a referee, coach and officer for the Girardville Basketball Association where he was honored for his involvement in February of this year. Rick umpired and refereed for Men and Youth basketball, Little and Teener League Baseball, and Girls Softball. He was an assistant coach for Cardinal Brennan Girls Softball in 2003 and 2004. He helped start and organize the Tomee Leigh Gower Memorial Softball Tournament and was a member of the Rangers Hose Co., Girardville.

Rick is survived by his wife of 16 years, Mary Draugelis Miller, Girardville; his two brothers: Robert Miller, Danville and Ronald “Chip” Miller, Shenandoah; his step-son Paul Turkavage, Philadelphia and his step-daughter Denise Turkavage, Frackville.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at St. Vincent de Paul Church, Girardville, worship site of St. Charles Borromeo Parish at 9:30 a.m. with Fr. Paul Rothermel, pastor, as the celebrant and Fr. Edward B. Connolly, pastor emeritus, con-celebrating. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery, Englewood, Frackville. Friends may call at the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Girardville on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and also on Friday morning at St. Vincent de Paul church from 8:30 a.m. until the time of mass.
