Harry Lee Derr, 82, of Carter St., Donaldson, passed away on Friday, July 28, in the Tremont Health & Rehab Center.

Born on April 19, 1935 in Tremont, he was a son of the late James and Elsie Hatter Derr.
He was a 1953 graduate of Tremont High School. He was a Life member of Donaldson Fire Co., was an avid Detroit Tigers fan and loved playing cards.
"Lee" was an Assistant Plant Manager, having been employed at Guilford Mills for 44 years.
Preceding him in death were his wife, Gladys G. Kimmel Derr in 2015, 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
Surviving are three daughters; Trudy and husband Curtis Reichert, Lori and husband Terry Kemmerling, both of Pine Grove, Judith Kustan of Frackville; two sons, Steven and wife Sandy Derr of Donaldson, Michael and wife Kathy Derr of Port Republic, MD; 16 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; a sister, Kathleen Morgan of Myerstown.
Memorial Services will be held on Friday, August 4, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. from the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove with Rev. Krista Roehrig officiating. There will be a calling time on Friday, August 4, 2017, from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Donaldson Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to the Zion Lutheran Church, c/o Frank Mohn 19 E. Center St., Donaldson, PA 17981 in his memory.

Phillip J. Angelo, 55, of West West Terrace, Branch Township, passed away suddenly at home on Saturday.

Born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, he was a son of the late Louis V. Angelo and the late Cesira “Jessie Bacchiocchi Angelo Kamenas. He was a 1981 graduate of Minersville Area High School. He was currently employed at SAPA, Cressona.

Phillip was a train aficionado, both HO and full scale. He enjoyed fishing and tinkering with his tractor. He was especially dedicated to his family.

He was preceded in death by three siblings, Linda Zelinsky in 1988, Wynell Angelo in 2004, and Stephen “Gebe” Angelo in 2009.


Surviving are his wife, the former Michelle A. Adamick; his children, Miranda Angelo and Dominick Angelo, both of West West Terrace. Also surviving are a brother, Paul Sementilli (spouse, Richelle), Shenandoah; two sisters, Doreen Blum (spouse, Tracy), Woodland Acres, and Michelle Rumpf (spouse, Rob), Frackville; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services and interment will be at the convenience of the family.
