James T. McGlinchey, 70 years of age of West Union Street, Tamaqua, passed away on Friday, July 28, 2017, at home.

Survived by his beloved wife of seventeen years, Theresa M. (Motika) McGlinchey; son, Brian P. McGlinchey and his wife Kelly of Tamaqua; daughter, Angela McGlinchey and her companion John Moravek of Lansford; brothers, Jack McGlinchey and his wife Annie of Tamaqua, William McGlinchey of Columbus, GA,; sister, Mrs. Dolores A. Digilio and her husband Joseph of Nesquehoning; grandchildren, Madison, and Zachary McGlinchey. Many friends, nephews, and nieces also survive Jim.

A 1964 graduate of Marian Catholic High School, Jim served honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Returning home he worked for the former Atlas Powder Company, retiring from Copper Head Chemical of Reynolds.

Jim was an ardent Notre Dame football fan, and member of the Schuylkill County Notre Dame Club. He was an active member of the East End Fire Company, and Tamaqua American Legion. He took it upon himself to make sure deceased veterans had new flags on their graves for the Memorial Day holiday.

Born Sunday, November 10, 1946 in Coaldale, the son of the late John E., and Thelma (Brode) McGlinchey. Jim was also predeceased by a brother, Robert Brode.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 4, 2017 at 10 o'clock AM from St. John XXIII R.C.C. located at 266 West Broad Street Tamaqua, Pennsylvania 18252.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, August 3, 2017, from the funeral home.

No morning calling hours.

Interment with Military Honors, will be held at Sky-View Memorial Park,. Tamaqua, Pennsylvania.

Roy H. Krell, Sr., of Penn Street, Tamaqua, Pennsylvania passed away on Friday, July 28, 2017 in Pottsville.

Survived by his wife of forty-four years, M. Jeanne (Buhl) Krell; Son, Roy H. Krell, Jr. and his wife Angelina of Cranesville, Pa.; daughter, Kimberly (Krell) Schroeder wife of Scott of Farmington, Mich.; sister, Mrs. Mary Brannun of Tamaqua; grandchildren, Matthew, Hunter, and Aubrey Krell, Ethan, and Daniel Schroeder.

Roy had worked at the former Atlas Powder for over thirty-eight years, retiring as a lead man. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and running his bird dogs.

Born in Tamaqua the son of the late George F., and Eva (Sparr) Krell, he was also predeceased by sisters, Mrs. Constance Henry, Miss Carol Krell; brothers, Donald E. Krell, John Krell, Oliver Krell, George Krell, and Charles Krell, and Robert Krell.

Sandra Marie Sninsky, age 75, of Port Carbon, PA passed away Saturday, July 29th, 2017 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Schuylkill East in Pottsville.

Born in Pottsville, PA on June 21, 1942, Sandra was the daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine (Yastishock) Panchison of Saint Clair.

Sandra was a graduate of Nativity B.V.M. High School, Class of 1960. She then graduated from St. Joseph School of Nursing in Reading, Class of 1963 as a Registered Nurse. Sandra's first job was in New York City at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital. Later, she worked for Good Samaritan Hospital, and for Manor Care Health Services, both in Pottsville.

Sandra was a devout Catholic and member of Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church in New Philadelphia, and a professed Secular Franciscan, who entrusted her life to Christ's Divine Mercy. Sandra was involved in gathering donations from the Saint Clare Franciscans for the St. Patrick's Soup Kitchen for many years. She was also an active member of the community, as a majority inspector for the 2nd precinct election board in Port Carbon and Co-Chair for the the Borough's Sesquicentennial Cook Book.
Sandra was a free spirit who enjoyed British comedies and mysteries, Broadway musicals, knitting and crocheting, and traveling to New England with her Husband Mike, and to the beach with her whole family. She loved her husband and family, and was as beautiful as she was generous with her time and love. Affectionately known as Nina, she enjoyed baking and making crafts with her grandchildren, and filling their world with love and imagination.

Sandra is survived by her devoted husband of 52 years, Michael G. Sninsky, Port Carbon; her daughter Stephanie Marie Lubinsky and her husband David M., Port Carbon; her son Michael J. Sninsky and his wife Susan, Schuylkill Haven; her 3 grandchildren: Molly, Catherine, and David Jr.; 2 brothers: Joseph Panchison, Fallsington, PA; and David Panchison, Langhorne, PA; twin sisters: Theresa Panchison and Lucille O'Connor, both of Saint Clair; a sister -in-law, Sister Mary Sninsky O.S.F; a brother-in-law, Stephen Sninsky and his wife Janette; nephews and their families; and her faithful companion, Bailey.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church in New Philadelphia at 11AM on Friday, August 4th, with Rev. Ronald J. Minner officiating.

Relatives and Friends are invited to a viewing on Thursday evening from 7-9PM and Friday morning from 9:30-10:30AM at Robert A. Evans Jr. Funeral Home, 208 Pike St. Port Carbon.

Interment will be held in the St. Anthony Cemetery in Port Carbon.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Holy Cross Church 99 Valley Street, New Philadelphia, PA 17959 or to the St. Patrick's Soup Kitchen, 319 Mahantongo St., Pottsville, PA 17901.
