Scott J. “Huff” Ferryman, 43, of Tamaqua, PA, died on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 in Bethlehem, PA. Born in Coaldale, PA on January 5, 1974, he was the son of Patrick T. Ferryman of New England Valley and Rochelle B. (nee Nelson) Lazarchick of Tamaqua. Scott had attended Tamaqua Schools and worked for Lazarchick’s Amusements. He was also a member of the Tamaqua Pool Leagues. Scott is survived by his father, Pat and his wife Rae; his mother, Rochelle and her husband, Sam; sister, Nicole Ferryman of Tamaqua; stepsisters, Sherri Lee Gerber of Tamaqua, Norma Fritz of West Chester, PA, and Carla Fritz of Andreas, PA; stepbrother, Vern Fritz and his wife, Shira of Andreas; grandmother, Illomay Nelson of Coaldale; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Predeceasing him were a brother, Patrick Ferryman; grandfathers, Russell C. Nelson and Patrick K. Ferryman; grandmother, Virginia McClure; aunt, Marilyn Nelson; and uncle, Todd Ferryman. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Noon on Saturday, September 2 in St. John XXIII Catholic Church, 266 West Broad Street, Tamaqua. Interment in St. Jerome cemetery will follow the mass. Guy W. Heim, 91, of Pitman, passed away Tuesday, August 29th, at Lehigh Valley Health Network-Schuylkill East, Pottsville.

Guy was born in Ashland, on September 5, 1925, a son of the late Rufus and Laura (Savage) Kimmel.

He was a member of the Church of Christ in Christian Union, Mabel.

He began working as coal miner at age 15 and retired from Exide Battery where he was employed as a custodian

He loved to talk and enjoyed old cars.

He was preceded in death by his wife Pauline "Poll" (Smith) Heim who passed away Jan. 21, 2007.

Guy is survived by a sister, Carol Daily of Philadelphia, a brother, John Kimmel of Lavelle; three step-children, Edith Brokenshire, Ricky Hepler and Karen Wolfe; 8 step-grandchildren; 11 step-great grandchildren and 1 step-great--great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by brothers Palmer, Melvin, Daniel, Monroe and Wilmer, and sisters, Mary Kimmel and Marie Banach.

Viewing will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2017 from 9-10 AM at the Stephen R. Rothermel Funeral Home, 1133 Ridge Rd., Klingerstown, with the funeral service following at 10 AM with Kent Straight officiating. Interment at St. John's " Kimmel's" Cemetery Ashland, PA.
