Crimson House Celebrates Grand Opening

A new restaurant in Pottsville celebrated it's grand opening last week.

On Thursday, November 15, 2017, The Crimson House celebrated its grand opening with a Ribbon Cutting Celebration facilitated by the Schuylkill Chamber of Commerce. The owner, Savas Logothetides, follows in the footsteps of his family that shares more than 60 years of restaurant ownership in the area.

“Savas Logothetides is an instrumental person in the community, the Pottsville Revitalization and the Schuylkill Chamber,” said Robert S. Carl, Jr., Schuylkill Chamber President and CEO, of the restaurant’s owner. “His enthusiasm is making a difference for this community.”

The afternoon was well attended by many community leaders including, State Representative Mike Tobash, Edward Kleha representing Rep. Neal Goodman, Schuylkill County Commissioner Gary Hess and Pottsville Mayor Muldowney. Rep. Mike Tobash thanked Savas for his leadership and ongoing commitment to Schuylkill County. “This is an anchor location for the downtown revitalization of the city Pottsville,” Tobash said.
