Roger H. Kingsley, 75 of Angel Drive, New Ringgold, Pennsylvania passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2017, at home while in the care of his wife Theresa (Simard) Kingsley. 

In addition to his wife he is survived by; daughter, Maria Davids; son, Larry Kingsley and his wife Paula; step-son, Kevin Walsh and his wife Bernardina; grand daughter, Erin Walsh; great grandchildren, Mackenzie, and Michael Walsh; many additional grandchildren and great grandchildren survive Roger as well. 

Born Tuesday, March 31, 1942 in Elizabeth, New Jersey. the son of the late Lloyd, and Elizabeth "Betty" (Frye) Kingsley. He was also predeceased by; sister, Betty Lou Danku; brother, James Kingsley. 

Roger retired from Asbury Graphite of New Jersey after 25 years having worked in the lab. He was an active member of the Mahoning Valley Ambulance Association, and West Penn Fire Police and Fire Company having served as vice president. Roger enjoyed playing guitar, fishing and hunting. 

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Robert S. Nester Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. of 2066 West Penn Pike New Ringgold, Pennsylvania 17960. (570) 386-5884. 

A Remembrance Services will be held on Saturday November 18, 2017 at 11 o'clock A.M. from the funeral home. Friends shall be received at the funeral home from 10:00 A.M. until time of services.

William E. Kirwan, Sr., 86, of Pottsville, passed away on Monday morning in Providence Place, Pottsville.

Born in Bangor, PA on May 25, 1931, he was a son of the late Freda (Yuhl) and William F. Kirwan.

He was a graduate of Pottsville Catholic High School and Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science (now known as Unversity of the Sciences, Philadelphia), where he received a Bachelor of Science degree.

Bill proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

He was the owner and pharmacist at Cable’s Pharmacy until 1973 when the business was sold to Rite Aid. He continued working there until retiring in 2010.

Bill was a past President of the former Pottsville Club and a longtime member of the Pottsville Rotary.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Rosemary "Kirkie" (Kurtz) in February 1989; 2nd wife, Angela (Gentile) Pellegrino in February 2015; and brother, John Kirwan.

William is survived by three daughters: Michele, wife of Richard McClain, of Pittsburgh; Kathy, wife of Rick Smolskis, of Cerritos, CA; Karen Ryan, of Orwigsburg; two sons William E. Jr., husband of Beth , of Orwigsburg; David, husband of Lisa Pellegrino, of Pensacola, FL; sister, Betty, widow of Vincent Callery, of Pottsville; brother, Robert, husband of Mary Frances Kirwan, of Freehold, NJ; 8 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 17th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville, with Msgr. Edward J. O'Connor as celebrant. A viewing will be held in the church on Friday morning from 9:30 a.m. until time of mass.

Entombment with military honors will follow in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Pottsville.
