Micheal L. Cully, 71, of Quakake, PA died on Friday, Nov. 3, 2017 in Salisbury Township, PA. He was the husband of Marlene (nee Soto) to whom he was married for 26 years.

Born in Hartland, Maine on July 4, 1946, Micheal was the son of the late Alver A. and Peggy (nee Roy) Cully. A 26 year veteran of the US Air Force, he served during the Vietnam War and retired as a Master Sergeant. After his retirement from the Air Force, Micheal worked for the Hazleton General Hospital for 20 years.

Surviving with his wife, Marlene are daughters, Kim Stanell of Ashland, PA and Kristie Henderson of Easton, PA; son, Nathan Henderson and his wife Denise of Tuscon, Arizona; grandchildren, Isabella Henderson and Savannah Henderson; sisters, Jennifer Metzger and her husband Donald of Houlton, Maine and Wendy Harding of Alfred, Maine; and several nephews.

Services will be held at 8 PM on Thursday, Nov. 9, 2017 at the Zizelmann-Gulla Funeral Home, 500 East Broad Street, Tamaqua, PA. Interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA. Call from 6-8 PM on Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials in Micheal's name may be made to the Pennsylvania Wounded Warriors, Inc., 1117 Country Club Road, Camp Hill, PA 17011. James R. Edmondson Sr., 68, Girardville passed away peacefully Saturday night at his home with his wife Joanne at his side.

Born in Shenandoah, he was a son of the late Robert J and Helen Ross Edmondson. He had been employed as an exterminator for J C Ehrlich, Pottsville, for 38 years, until his retirement.

He was a 1967 graduate of North Schuylkill High School and was a US Army Veteran of the Viet Nam War, where he was awarded the Purple Heart.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son Anthony J. in 2016 and his sister-in-law Margaret “ Peg “ Edmondson.

James is survived by his wife of 31years Joanne Sherry Edmondson, Girardville; his son James R. Edmondson Jr. and his fiancé Melissa Foster, Hazleton; his brother Robert Edmondson, Pine Grove; his granddaughter, Kayla Edmondson, Lavelle and several nephews.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
