Winter Weather Advisory Issued for Christmas Eve into Christmas Morning

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Christmas Eve into Christmas Morning.

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM THIS EVENING TO 9 AM EST MONDAY...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Plan on slippery road conditions. Tree branches could fall as well. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches are expected. Some of the ridges in northern PA may see up to

* WHERE...The Laurels, Alleghenies and northern mountains as well as the higher elevations of Schuylkill County.

* WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 9 AM EST Monday. The heaviest snow will fall between 9 PM EST and 3 AM EST.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Be prepared for reduced visibilities at times.
