Margaret I. Stahler, 76, of Tamaqua, PA died on Thursday, January 11, 2018 in Coaldale, PA.
She was the wife of Ronald E. Stahler to whom she was married 57 years this past November. Born in Coaldale on March 8, 1941, Margaret was a daughter of the late William and Mary (nee Ehle) Williams. A 1959 graduate of the former Lansford High School, she had been employed at the Mahoning Valley Nursing Home as a certified nursing assistant. Formerly Margaret had worked for Sprite Manufacturing in Tamaqua.
She was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Tamaqua.
Margaret is survived by husband, Ronald; son, Ronald Stahler, Jr. of Tamaqua; daughters, Deborah Holmberg and her husband Joseph of West Penn Township, PA and Denise Hope and her husband, Robert of Tamaqua; grandchildren, Amy Mirabal and her husband Ryan of Germany, Angela Krapf and her husband Keith of Coaldale, Andrew Stahler of Tamaqua, Rachel Oberg and her husband Ted of Dallas, PA, Joseph Holmberg and his wife Leah of Harrisburg, Kayla Hope of Tamaqua, and Tyler Hope of Tamaqua; 7 great grandchildren; brothers, James Williams and his wife Grace, Russell Williams, and Thomas Williams and his wife Barbara; and sisters, Joyce Henry and Mary Jane Masters.
She was predeceased by brothers, William Williams, Robert Williams, and Henry Williams and sister, Shirley Caley.
Services will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, January 16 at the Zizelmann-Gulla Funeral Home, 500 East Broad Street, Tamaqua. Interment in Sky View Memorial Park, Hometown, PA will follow. Call 9-11 AM on Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials in Margaret’s name may be made to St. Luke’s Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, 360 West Ruddle Street, Coaldale, PA 18218.
