Joan O (Berger) Zaprazny, age 83, of McCorkle Rd, Hershey passed away Monday, February 12, 2018 at Penn State Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, Pa.
She was the wife of John R. Zaprazny who died July 2, 2007. They enjoyed 52 years of marriage.
Joan was a 1952 graduate of Schuylkill Haven High School. Joan took great pride in her family and loved her cats.
Joan loved crafts, gardening, music, reading, and sewing.
Joan was active in her church throughout her life and was most recently a member of New Life Church of Hershey, Pa who welcomed her in 2016.
She was a pianist and she taught Sunday school for 40 years.
She was a former member of the Golden Girls Singing Group, Local Senior Citizen group, the Penn State Senior Exercise Program and her church choir.
Born in Port Carbon on August 6, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Raymond D. And Ruth O (Warner) Berger.
She is survived by her daughter, Phyllis Parker wife of Jeffrey Parker, Lake Wynonah, PA

Funeral services will be at Grace Evangelical Church 15 Earl Stoyer Rd., Schuylkill Haven Pa at 12:00 Noon on Friday, February 16, 2018. Pastors Ted Rathman and Greg Starr to officiate.
Friends may call from 10:00 AM until time of service at the church.
Interment will be at Christ Church Cemetery, McKeansburg, Pa.
