Just after 1:15pm Monday, emergency personnel were called to 16 North Manning Street, McAdoo for a kitchen fire.
When the chief arrived on scene, heavy smoke was found and the fire has been upgraded to a second alarm.
All occupants were reported to have exited the home.
Just after 1:30pm, the fire was reported to have been knocked down.
