Anna Mae C. Kleponis, 94, of Bloomsburg, PA passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Sunset Ridge Healthcare and Rehab. Center, Bloomsburg. Born in Ashland, PA on April 3, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Matthew and Martha (Stabler) Burns.

Anna Mae graduated from St. Joseph High School, Ashland in 1942. She had been employed as a telephone operator by Bell Telephone until she later became a full-time homemaker. Anna Mae was a member of St. Columba Church, Bloomsburg, and had been a member of the former St. Mauritius Church, Ashland, before relocating to the Bloomsburg area. In her spare time, Anna Mae enjoyed traveling. She has visited all fifty states. She especially enjoyed her trips to Las Vegas with her family. She was a fan of the Philadelphia Phillies.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Albert F. Kleponis, 2010. Brothers: Francis, James, Charles, and Leo Burns. She is the last of her immediate family.
Surviving are a son: Dr. Jerome of Bloomsburg, PA. Cousin: Rose Marie Szulanczyk of Lewisburg, PA. Many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 16, 2018 at 11:00 A.M from the St. Columba Church, 342 Iron St., Bloomsburg, PA with Msgr. Robert E. Lawrence officiating. Interment at St. Mauritius Cemetery, Ashland, PA. Visitation will be Monday, July 16, at 10:00 AM until the time of the mass at the St. Columba Church.

Jane B. Bukowski, 97, formerly of Ringtown and Turkey Run, passed away peacefully Friday at Shenandoah Senior Living Community.

Born in Shenandoah, November 28, 1920, she was a daughter of the late Stanley and Josephine (Rzepiejewski) Lebiedziewski.

Jane was a member of Divine Mercy Parish, Shenandoah. She was a lifelong member of the former St. Stanislaus Church, Shenandoah, where she was the oldest active member at its closing and ceremonially locked the doors for the last time after the final Mass was celebrated.

Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were her husband, Constant Bukowski, in 1971; an infant daughter, Jane, at birth; three brothers and three sisters. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Surviving are her son, John Bukowski and his wife, Valerie; her daughter, Marie Wowak and her husband, Stan; five grandchildren, Christine Johnson and her husband, Ed, John M. Bukowski and his wife, Terri, Shannon Wowak and her husband, Mark Vines, Brian Wowak and Michael Wowak and his wife, Mindy; five great-grandsons, Stephen and Andrew Johnson, Jack and Peter Bukowski and Troy Wowak; nieces, nephews and many friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:30 p.m. Monday in St. Casimir Church, the sacred worship site of Divine Mercy Parish, 229 N. Jardin St., Shenandoah. Monsignor Ronald C. Bocian, pastor, will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Casimir Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights. A viewing will be held from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. Monday in St. Casimir Church, Shenandoah.
