Edward P. Zupko, 76, of Tamaqua, PA died on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 in Bethlehem, PA. 

He was the husband of Patricia Ann (nee Curvey) Zupko to whom he was married 57 years in April of this year. 

Born in Pottsville, PA on February 16, 1942, Ed was a son of the late John and Madeline (nee Leskosky) Zupko. A 1959 graduate of Tamaqua High School, he worked for Air Products as a brazer. When Ed retired from Air Products in 2004, he continued in the workforce with employment as a security staff member at the Schuylkill County Courthouse. Ed was a member of the parish of St. John the XXIII. He also was a member of the Tamaqua Knights of Columbus and a social member of both the East End Fire Company, Tamaqua and the Tamaqua American Legion C.H. Berry Post #173. Ed loved to fish, including ice fishing, and to golf. A big Eagles fan, he was the #1 fan of his grandchildren and great grandchildren. No matter what was being served, Ed felt mealtime was never to be missed. 

He is survived by his wife, Pat; daughters, Debbie Smarr and her husband, Joe of Hometown, PA and Donna Suda and her husband, Ted of Leesburg, FL; grandchildren, Jade Buchanan, Zachary Kattner and his wife, Bethany, and Ashley Suda all of Florida, Derek Smarr and his wife, Laura of Bowmanstown, PA, and Dylan Smarr and Tyler Smarr of Hometown; great grandchildren, Rylee Buchanan, Ryan Buchanan, Sophie Higgs, Myron Kattner, and Maxwell Kattner all of FL; and several nieces. 

His brother Michael Zupko preceded him in death in 2015. 

A Prayer Service will be held at 7:30 PM on Friday, August 3 at the Zizelmann-Gulla Funeral Home, 500 East Broad Street, Tamaqua. Call 6-7:30 PM on Friday at the funeral home. Gerald S. Kramer, 78, of Landingville, passed away Sunday at home while in the company of family members.

Gerald was born in Landingville, Nov. 22, 1939, a son of the late Harry and Katherine Reber Kramer.

He was the husband of Mary Miller Kramer, to whom he was married for 60 years.

Gerald was in charge of the cutting department at Hubler's Shoe Factory. He was also employed by Wright's Knit Wear.

Gerald was preceded in death by daughters, Cynthia Smith and Brenda Thompson; and brothers, Nelson Kramer and Arlan Kramer.

Gerald is survived by a son, Jeffrey, husband of Miranda Kramer, Auburn. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Faith United Church of Christ, Landingville, with the Rev. James Fidler officiating. Interment will follow in Park Hill Cemetery, Landingville. A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Ges-chwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home Inc., 25 E. Main St., Schuylkill Haven.
