Elva I Klinger, age 97, of Erdman, formerly of Sacramento, passed away Thursday, August 16, 2018 at her residence.

She was born on Wednesday, February 16, 1921, in Valley View, a daughter of the late John Harner and the late Eva Schucker Harner.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran "Klinger's" Church, Erdman.

Elva enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, crocheting, reading, and spending time with her family.

Her husband Leon O Klinger passed away in 2001. She was also preceded in death by her parents; by a son, Leon Klinger, Jr, a daughter, Joy Shadle; a great granddaughter, Amber Hoke, three great grandsons, Nicolas Farran, Brandon Messner, and Brent Messner; and a sister, Elsie Ferree.

She is survived by three sons, Gene Klinger and his wife Jean of Gratz, James Klinger and his wife Penny of Harrisburg, Rodney Klinger and his wife Brenda of Sacramento; three daughters, Dorothy B Yeich and her husband Ray of Mechanicsburg, Diane Mausser and her husband Harry of Hegins, and Rose Frantz and her husband Joe of Erdman; a daughter in law, Janet Klinger of Gratz; eleven grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren; twenty-one great great grandchildren; a brother, Roy Harner of Spring Glen; a sister, Betty Klinger of Barry Twp; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Burial will be made in Zion Lutheran "Klinger's" Cemetery, Erdman.

Florence T. Moll, beloved wife and cherished mother, of Center Street Tamaqua, passed away on Monday, August 13, 2018, at St. Luke's Hospital in Bethlehem after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 52.

Survived by her husband Ronald Moll, daughter Sharon N. Moll, sons Brendan C. and Harold T. Moll, and brothers Robert, Larry, and Thomas O'Leary.

Catholic by faith, Flo worked for Lehigh Asphalt Paving& Construction in Tamaqua. She enjoyed spending time with her family and shepherding them thru lives endeavors.

Born in New York, New York, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Ruth O'Leary.

Ann J. Glauda, 73, of Pottsville, passed away Tuesday at Lehigh Valley Hospital- Cedar Crest.

Born in Pottsville, January 30, 1945, she was the daughter of the late William and Anna Clause.

She was a graduate of Tamaqua High School and a member of St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville. She was also a chef & baker

Ann was a co-owner of Glauda's Amusements. She loved going to Atlantic City and the Washington Red Skins.

In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by sister, Nancy Houser; two half sisters, Hazel Spork and Evelyn Fox; half brother, Ernest Clause.

Ann is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Butch Glauda; two sons, Michael husband of Deborah Glauda and Bud husband of Stacie Glauda; two daughters, Carol Spork and Shelly Spork. She is also survived by two grandsons, Derek Roskosky and Robert Horning; great grandchildren, Phaedra Sophy, Jacob Horning, and Cayson Horning; brothers, Billy and Johnny Clause; sisters, Betty Sterner Kershner, Kathy Braskie, Mary Reed, Jean Hamm, and Tina Clause; several nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Saturday at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, 319 Mahantongo Street, Pottsville. Family and friends may call Friday evening from 7PM until 9PM at Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home 515 W. Market St., Pottsville and Saturday morning from 9:30AM until 10:30AM at the funeral home. Interment will be at Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Hillside.

Twila C. Schnoke, 90, of Pine Grove, passed away on Sunday, August 12, 2018 in the Tremont Health and Rehab Center.Born on January 12, 1928 in Newtown, she was a daughter of the late John and Pearl Ossman Hammershy.

She was a graduate of Newtown High School and a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Newtown.
Preceding her in death were two brothers, Russell Ossman and Kenneth Ossman.
Surviving are her husband of 64 years, Clayton S. Schnoke, a daughter Terry and husband Lynn Spittler, a grandson Jamey Spittler, great granddaughter Saige Spittler, all of Pine Grove.
Graveside services and interment will be held at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville at the convenience of the family.

Tanya Lee (Haluska) Eyler, 44, of Palo Alto, passed away on Sunday at her home.

Born in Pottsville, she was a daughter of Mary Ann Sedar Haluska, Pottsville. She was a 1992 graduate of Pottsville Area High School; and later attended Penn State and McCann School of Business. She was an office worker.

Vibrant and energetic, Tanya was the ultimate “theater mom”, supporting her son, Andrew Kelley, in his every endeavor. She immensely enjoyed spending time with her friends, both human and feline. She liked roller skating, traveling and attending concerts; and found relaxation in cooking, painting and word puzzles.

In addition to her mother and son, she is survived by her husband, Jamason Lance Eyler; two sisters, Pamela Kuzmitsky (spouse, Michael), Pottsville, and Lori Nunemacher (spouse, Wayne), Grantville.

The family will accept visitors at Dutcavich Funeral Home, 200 Sunbury Street, Minersville, on Sunday from 3:00 P.M. to 5:30 P.M.

Irene Semanchyk, 90, owner and operator of the Banquet Hotel in Ringtown, passed away Monday, August 13th, 2018 at the home of her daughter Nancy in Hazleton.

Irene was born in Mahanoy City, on February 28, 1928, a daughter of Eugene and Elizabeth (Belovich) Husalo.

A life long restaurant owner, she and her husband, the late Theodore "Teddy" Semanchyk owned and operated the well-known Banquet Hotel in Ringtown since 1951.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore "Teddy" Semanchyk in February of 2008, and by brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her children, Nancy Kutsko, of Hazleton, John Semanchyk, of Ringtown and Theodore, Jr.,"Pudgy" Semanchyk and his wife Maxine of Ringtown.

She is also survived by her grandchildren, Joshua Semanchyk, Amii Kress, Harry Kress, Jessica Kutsko, Morgana Semanchyk and Amber Semanchyk. Three great grandchildren, Joe Gill, Jalen Gill and Harlem Gill also survive.

It was Irene's wish that no public services are to be held.
