Flash Flood Watch Issued for Late Monday into Early Tuesday

The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch for Late Monday into Early Tuesday.


FLASH FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM THIS EVENING THROUGH TUESDAY MORNING... The National Weather Service in State College has issued a

 * Flash Flood Watch for a portion of central Pennsylvania, including the following counties, Adams, Columbia, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Juniata, Lancaster, Lebanon, Mifflin, Montour, Northumberland, Perry, Schuylkill, Snyder, Southern Lycoming, Sullivan, Union, and York.  
* From this evening through Tuesday morning 

 * The remnants of Hurricane Florence will lift northeast from the Ohio Valley today and tonight, bringing locally heavy rain to central Pennsylvania. Rain totals by late Tuesday morning will average between 0.5 and 1.5 inches over most of the area. However, higher amounts of 2 to 4 inches are possible in a few spots, which would cause flooding.
