William E. Rock Jr., 62, of Gordon, PA passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, PA. Born February 16, 1956 in Ashland, PA the son of the late William and Janet (Stover) Rock.

William is a graduate of North Schuylkill High School. He worked at Paint-N-Place, Ashland as an auto body mechanic for many years. He was a member of Christ's United Lutheran Church, Gordon. He enjoyed going to car shows.

William is survived by his wife: Diane Rock of Gordon, PA. Son: Jeremy husband of Kimberly Rock of Ashland, PA. Daughter: Jennifer wife of Eric Singleton of Pottsville, PA. Grandchildren: Jeremy and Alexander Rock; and Rylee Singleton.

Funeral Services will be 12:00 noon Saturday, September 22, 2018 at the Kull-Heizenroth Funeral Home, Ashland, PA with Rev. Laura Csellak officiating. Visitation Saturday, 10:30 AM until the time of service at the funeral home. Kull-Heizenroth Funeral Home Inc., Ashland is in charge of the arrangements. Charles Heizenroth III, Supervisor.

Edward F. (Buddy) Widel, 83, of Orwigsburg, passed away on Wednesday, September 19th, at Orwigsburg Center.

Buddy was born in Pottsville on September 23, 1934, a son of the late Angeline (Mignucci) and Edward Widel. He was the husband of Mary Louise (Ward) Widel. They were married October 1st, 1955. He was a member of St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Schuylkill Haven. He worked as a Loan Officer at Miners Bank in Minersville. He was well known in the area for his Music & his Band, which he had for over 40years, The Buddy Widel Trio.

In addition to his wife Mary, of 63 years, Buddy is also survived by two sons Gregory and Michael Widel; Grandsons Michael & Anthony Widel

He was predeceased by his son Mark Widel in January of this year, and his brother James Widel, in 1978.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church in Schuylkill Haven on Monday September 24th at 10:30 AM with Rev. Msgr. Edward S. Zemanik officiating. Visitation will be in the chapel from 9:15 until 10:15 AM.

Interment will be in St. Joseph's Catholic Church Cemetery, Pottsville.
