At 10:20am, Friday, emergency personnel were dispatched to the intersection of Route 61 and Terry Rich Boulevard for a two vehicle accident.
Both vehicles sustained heavy damage in the crash and had to be towed from the scene.
Both drivers, Dianna Ruth Post of Frackville, and Josieline Chwastiak of Saint Clair were treated at the scene by Schuylkill EMS.
Route 61 Northbound was down to one lane while the crash was cleared.
