The fire broke out around 9:00am in the 2nd floor kitchen area of 426 Dock Street in Schuylkill Haven.
When crews arrived they found heavy fire and smoke coming from the second floor of the structure.
By 9:30am the fire was reported out but not before damaging two apartments.
One person was reported to have sustained minor injuries in the fire.
