* WHAT...Heavy mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches and ice accumulations of around
one tenth of an inch.
* WHEN...From 10 AM Thursday to 8 AM EST Friday. Heavy snow and
sleet will move in from the south during the morning then turn
to a mixed bag of precipitation. The heaviest period of
precipitation will be during the mid-day into early evening. The
precipitation may turn to freezing rain for the evening and much
of the night. The precipitation will likely end as a second
period of heavy snow early Friday morning.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on difficult travel conditions,
including during the evening commute on Thursday. Be prepared
for significant reductions in visibility at times.
