A new traffic pattern will be in effect in Minersville starting in the new year.

NEW TRAFFIC PATTERN ON 5TH STREET IN FRONT OF ELEMENTARY SCHOOL.
Effective Wednesday, January 2, 2019 traffic will be one-way southbound between the hours of 8am - 9am and 2:45pm - 3:45pm.
This means traffic may not enter 5th Street from North Street during those hours.
To access the school during those hours vehicles should use 4th Street to Jones Stree to Field Road (by Quandel's car wash) then turn Southbound on 5th Street. In addition, parking is prohibited in front of and across from the school (the area between Pine St. and Field Road) between the hours of 8am - 4pm.
Parents wishing to pick up their children after school should park on North Street and walk to the pick up area across the street from the school. All Elementary students were given a copy of this new policy to bring home to their parents. This new procedure is necessary to ensure the safety of the students.
