John N. Schneck, 76, of Deturksville Rd., Pine Grove, passed away on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 in Select Specialty Hospital, Harrisburg.
Born on July 25, 1942 in Pottsville, he was a son of the late Norman and Mary Krause Schneck.
He was a member of Hetzel's Lutheran Church, Pine Grove. He was a graduate of Pine Grove High School and attended Central Penn Business School.
He was a Specialist in the Army National Guard having served with the 228th Supply & Transport Battalion.
John worked as a Fiscal Assistant for the State Comptrollers Office.
Preceding him in death was a sister, Joan Schneck.
Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Mary Anne Herring Schneck; son, Scott and wife Becky Schneck of Pine Grove; daughter, Michele and husband Jim Koulik,Sr. of Harrisburg; 4 grandchildren, James Jr. and wife Tianna Koulik, Joseph Koulik, Teresa Koulik, Isabella Koulik; great-grandson, James Koulik, III; brother, Gene and wife Anita Schneck of Stevens, Pa., Sister, Sandra Ketner of Schuylkill Haven, and his best buddy, Teddy.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove with Pastor Jill Bierwirth officiating. There will be a viewing on Wednesday, December 12, 2018, from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Hetzel's Cemetery, Pine Grove.

Dorothy A. Kramer, 81, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Thursday at her home.

Born August 25, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Olive M. (Kimmel) and Mark E. Killian. She was the wife of Merlin G. Kramer to whom she was married 63 years.

She was a 1955 graduate of Schuylkill Haven High School. Dottie enjoyed being a stay at home mom, caring for her family while traveling the world for Merl's Air Force Career. She also spent many years as an avid bowler, becoming PWBA Association Secretary and a member of the Hall of Fame.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters Donna (Richard) Luckenbill, Schuylkill Haven; Darlene (John) Huether of Fort Myers, FL, and sons Mark (Denise), Fort Myers, FL; Matthew (Heather) of Orwigsburg; sisters Marianne Matrisciano, Cape Coral, FL; Karen (Robert) Bilinski, of Lafayette Hill, PA; and brother Edward (Janice) of Lebanon, PA; 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

A religious service will be held Monday, December 10 at 11 AM at the Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., Orwigsburg with Reverend Bogdan Yurchishin officiating. Friends are invited to call from 9:30 AM until the time of service. Interment is to be held at Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.
