Pearl E Neidlinger, age 94, of Pottsville, passed away Monday, December 10, 2018 at Schuylkill Center, Pottsville.
She was born on Sunday, April 6, 1924, in Pottsville, a daughter of the late William Koons and the late Carrie Kramer Koons.
Pearl loved country and western music.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Stanford Neidlinger, Sr; a son, Stanford Neidlinger, Jr; a grandson, Allen Winn; and a brother and three sisters.
She is survived by three daughters, Nancy Protivnak of Hegins, Lorelei Lee of Decatur, IL, and Susan Tetley of Decatur, IL; six grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, on Thursday, December 13, 2018, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Curtis Zemencik officiating.
A viewing will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Thursday at the funeral home.
Burial will be made in Friedens Cemetery, Hegins.

Lynda Lou Snyder, age 67, of Hegins, passed away Saturday, December 8, 2018 at the Penn State Milton S Hershey Medical Center, Hershey.

She was born on Sunday, December 10, 1950, in Valley View, a daughter of the late Leon Maurer, Sr and the late Elma Snyder Maurer.

She was a graduate of Tri-Valley High School.

Lynda was a caregiver at the Redco Happy House, Valley View, prior to her retirement.

Her husband James D Snyder passed away in 2013.

She is survived by a daughter, Tena Brown and her husband Don of Mechanicsburg; a step son, Jeffrey Snyder of Gratz; a granddaughter, Kayla Chaney; two grandsons, Tanner Brown and Hunter Brown; brother, Leon Maurer, Jr of Hegins; sister, Ruth Hoffman of Berrysburg; and several nieces and nephews.

As per Lynda's request there will be no services.

Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, is in charge of arrangements.

Mildred E. Miller, 89, of Schuylkill Haven, PA, passed away Monday, December 10th, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born in Schuylkill Haven on September 16, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Roland & Minnie (Schafer) Galehoff.

She was the widow of Robert S.Miller, who preceded her in death August 3, 2001.

Mildred was a graduate of Cressona High School, Class of 1947.

She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Friedensburg , and a former member of Jerusalem Lutheran Church, Schuylkill Haven.

Mildred is survived by a sister, Edith Moyer, Schuylkill Haven, and nieces & nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Roland Galehoff in 2001.

A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be conducted at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Friedensburg at 10:30 a.m. on Friday with Pastor Peggy Sue Pfeffer officiating.

A viewing will be held at the church on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.

Interment will immediately follow the service at Union Cemetery, Schuylkill Haven.
