Anna Maliniak, 94, former Frackville resident, passed away peacefully Friday in Annapolis, MD.

Born in Mahanoy Plane she was a daughter of the late Alex and Mary Stoppi Kuzio. She had been employed by the Montgomery County Public School system until her retirement.

She was a member of St. Michael Ukrainian Catholic Church, Frackville.

She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Maliniak, her brother Stephen Kuzio and two sisters; Mary Sich and Julia Dougert.

Anna is survived by her daughter Elaine Maliniak, Annapolis, MD and her sister Catherine Hoffman, Frackville also by several nieces and nephews.

Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday at 11 a.m. in St. Michael Ukrainian Catholic Church, Frackville, with Rev. Petro Zvarych, pastor, as the celebrant. Interment will be in St. Michael Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights. Friends may call at the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Frackville, on Friday morning from 9 a.m. until 10:30. Parastas will be at 10 a.m.

Doris E. Epting, 82, of South Manheim Township, passed away Monday, January 21st, at Laurel Center, Hamburg.

Born in South Manheim Township on October 1, 1936, she was a daughter of the late Clarence & Elizabeth (Boger) Boyer.

She was the wife of Earl G. Epting. The couple recently celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary on December 10th.

Doris attended Auburn High School.

She was formerly employed by local factories, but spent most of her life as a homemaker.

She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Summer Hill, Auburn.

In addition to her husband, Doris is survived by five daughters, Sharon Dreher, wife of Todd, of Schuylkill Haven, Cindy Reber, wife of Steve, of Schuylkill Haven, Lori Epting, of Auburn, Donna Edwards, wife of Paul, of Schuylkill Haven, and Beth Ulsh, wife of Glenn, Schuylkill Haven, and a son, Randy Epting, husband of Judy, South Manheim Township.

She is also survived by nine grandchildren: David, & Ashley Dreher, Megan Fidler, Tyler, & Cody Reber, Travis Ulsh, Callie Edwards, Tiffany Epting, and Molly Ulsh, one great-grandchild, Cole Fidler, and one on the way.

In addition to her parents, Doris is also preceded in death by three brothers: Warren, Guy, and Russell.

The family would like to thank the staff at Laurel Center for the care and compassion they extended to Doris during her stay.

Services & interment will be privately held at the family's convenience.

Keith D. Rizzuto, 89, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Sunday, Jan. 20, at Lancaster General Hospital, Lancaster.

Born in Orwigsburg, Oct. 12, 1929, he was a son of the late Matthew and Anna Miller Rizzuto.

He was the widower of Jeanne Feeney Rizzuto, to whom he was married 52 years.

Keith was a graduate of Orwigsburg High School, Class of 1947. He attended Drexel University and earned a business management certificate from Pennsylvania State University.

He served in the Navy, and had worked for Carpenter Technology, Reading, for 35 years, retiring as manager of customer service.

Keith was a member of St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Schuylkill Haven.

He was also a member of Schuylkill Haven Lions Club, East Ward Social Club and the Robert E. Baker Post 38 American Legion, Schuylkill Haven.

Keith was an accomplished musician. He played saxophone in a band during his younger years, and later taught private music lessons in his home.

He is survived by three daughters, Kay Ann Brady, wife of Frank, Lancaster, Karen Portko, wife of Larry, Grand Rapids, Mich., and Jane Rizzuto, Lancaster; three grandchildren, Ryan, Janine and Laura; a great-grandson, William.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, at St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Schuylkill Haven, with the Rev. Edward S. Zemanik officiating. A viewing will be held from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Thursday in the church's chapel. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Keith's memory may be sent to St. Ambrose School, 302 Randel St., Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972, or Lancaster General Health Foundation, 609 N. Cherry St., P.O.
