HIGH WIND WATCH IN EFFECT FROM SUNDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH MONDAY AFTERNOON...
The National Weather Service in State College has issued a High Wind Watch, which is in effect from Sunday afternoon through Monday afternoon.
* WINDS...West 20 to 25 mph with gusts of 50 to 60 mph possible.
* TIMING...Westerly Winds will increase quickly by the mid afternoon hours Sunday in the wake of a cold front, and the potentially damaging wind gusts will continue through much of Monday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Strong winds may blow down limbs, trees, and power lines. Scattered power outages are expected.
