"Good Times" were Celebrated During 16th Annual Girardville St. Patrick's Day Parade

On Saturday, Girardville held their 16th Annual AOH St. Patrick's Day Parade and celebrated 187 years of having a "Good Time" in the borough.

The Girardville Good Time Civic Group was honored as this year's grand marshall and led over 70 entrants that were divided into 4 divisions.

The entrants included bag pipe bands, Ancient Order of the Hiberians from around Pennsylvania, local dignataries, local businesses, non-profit organizations, fire apparatus from around Schuylkill County, and more.

Thousands of people joined in the festivities with the parade kicking off at Noon Sharp.  Vendors were also set up throughout the borough selling food.

A Girardville favorite, Centioles Pizza, also introduced their new "Mega Slice".

Judging was done at the St. Joseph's Church with Philip Groody and Phil McCarthy as emcees.

Winners of awards will be announced later.
