Diana I. McGeever, 60 Pottsville, died Tuesday at home.

She was born June 9, 1958 in London England, a daughter of the late Charles and Mary Wrxstrue Dryden.

She was employed by Pottsville Development Corporation last working on Monday.

Throughout her life Diana enjoyed planting flowers in her English Garden at home. One of her favorite flowers were yellow roses.

She was preceded in death by her husband Michael G. McGeever on Feb 19, 2009; a brother, Dennis Dryden. Surviving are 6 six siblings, Teresa, Christopher, Romi, Tim, Patricia, and Sally. Her mother-in-law, Helen McGeever; a sister-in-law, Kathy Galavage; a brother-in-law, Pat McGeever, all of Pottsville. Nieces and Nephews.

Service of Remembrance will be held Tuesday at 7PM from the James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville. Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 5PM until the times of services at the funeral home. The family would prefer remembrances in the form of contributions made to Diana McGeever Memorial C/O 1316 Mahantongo St. Pottsville PA, 17901. Interment will be private in Trinity Memorial Gardens on the Grounds of Trinity Lutheran Church, Pottsville.

Andrew J. Pavelko, Jr., 64 of Pottsville, died Saturday at ManorCare Health Services, Pottsville.

Andy's final wishes were to have all services and interment private.

Luther W. "Dutter" Kershner, 72, of Spruce St., Pine Grove, passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2019 in Pine Grove Twp.

Born on April 1, 1947 in Pine Grove, he was a son of the late Luther Sr. and Marjorie Wenrich Kershner and stepson of the late Laverne Seltzer Kershner.
He was a 1965 graduate of Pine Grove High School and was a member of St. Paul's UCC, Ravine.
He was in the PA Army National Guard and Reserves having served with Co B 228th Supply and Transport Battalion.
"Dutter" worked as a Extruder Operator for Honeywell in Marlin.
He was a member of Pine Grove Ambulance for 20 years, Ravine Fire Co., and Little Marsh Hunting Club.
Surviving are a son, Michael and wife Marlo Kershner of Pine Grove; two granddaughters, Cassie 

Kershner and fiancé Dakota Deaven of Schuylkill Haven, Casey Kershner of Pine Grove; companion, Susan Miller of Pine Grove.
All Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in St. Paul's UCC Cemetery, Ravine.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to either the Golden Acres Rescue, 14 Pine Meadow Dr., Pine Grove, Pa. 17963; Ruth Steinert Memorial SPCA, P. O. Box 332 Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972, or Hillside SPCA P. O. Box 233 Pottsville, PA 17901 in his memory.

James Earl Schoffstall, 81, of Branch St., Tremont, passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at home.
Born on May 25, 1937 in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Earl and Pauline Stevenson Schoffstall.
He was a graduate of Tremont High School and a member of the Most Blessed Trinity Parish, Tremont. He was also a member of the Studebaker Drivers Club.
James worked as a Federal Mine Inspector.
Preceding him in death were his wife of 61 years, Shirley M.Tobias Schoffstall; an infant daughter; a grandson, Jeremy Spittler; a brother, Thomas Schoffstall; and a sister Mary Ann Anderson.
Surviving are his daughter, Susan and husband Clayton Adams of Schuylkill Haven; grandson, Jason Spittler and companion Danielle Liptak of Hamburg; two brothers, Jack Schoffstall of Montana and David Schoffstall of Llewelyn.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at Most Blessed Trinity Parish, 113 Cherry St., Tremont, Pa. with Father Jason Stokes officiating. There will be a viewing on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove. Interment will follow in the Most Blessed Trinity Cemetery, Tremont.
