Part of two homes collapsed in Girardville overnight.
In the early morning hours of Friday, emergency personnel were dispatched to Ogden Street for a structural collapse.
When crews arrived, they found the complete front 15 West Ogden Street had collapsed along with part of 17 West Ogden.
Both homes were abandoned and no injuries were reported.
This is the 2nd structural collapse in Girardville in less than a month. In the early morning hours of April 23rd, 2019, two homes collapsed in the 200 Block of West Main Street. The collapse was cleaned up a week later.
No word from the borough on what will happen with these properties.
According to the Schuylkill County Parcel Locator, 15 West Ogden Street is owned by Witsar Construction Properties LLC and 17 West Ogden Street is owned by Chad Kerchner.
