Helen Corrigan Wayne, Frackville, daughter of William and Agnes Corrigan, loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend passed on with her loved ones by her side on Thursday morning May 23rd at her residence.

Helen was the most beautiful and loving soul and a devout Catholic. She will be missed by all who loved her. The world will never be the same.

She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Parish, Frackville, the LAOH, Girardville and the former Holy Rosary Society, Girardville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Wayne; her sister Dolores Wayne and her brother William Corrigan. Helen is survived by her four children: Aileen and her husband Dave McCabe, Karyn Stevenson, Michael and David Wayne; her four grandchildren Sean, Megan, Michael and Allison; her two sisters: Jeanette Roscoe and Karen Corrigan; her best friend of over 50 years, Nancy Kennedy and her sister-in-law, Eileen Wayne.

She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews. She loved all of them and they loved her. Helen loved spending time with her grandchildren, spending time with her sisters and visiting her niece, Maryann Wayne in New York. Helen will leave a void that can never be filled.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday morning from St. Ann’s Church, Frackville with Rev. Brian Miller, pastor, as the celebrant. Friends and family are invited to her viewing from 8 a.m. until the time of mass. Interment will follow mass at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, Fountain Springs.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Helen’s name to St. Joseph the Worker Parish at 7 S. Broad Mountain Avenue Frackville, PA 17931. Thomas C. Sherry, Sr., of Tamaqua, Pennsylvania passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at home while in the care of his family.

Born in Coaldale, the son of the late Clayton John and Betty Lorraine (Kellett) Sherry.

Tom was a member of St. John's UCC of Tamaqua, the Citizen's Fire Company and a devoted Pittsburgh Steelers Fan. He loved Tamaqua- whether taking a morning drive or sitting on the bench in front of the Majestic House, Tom was proud of his hometown. Tom looked forward to his family's summer beach vacation. Tom worked construction and for Hamburg Steel.

Surviving are; son, Thomas C. Sherry, Jr. and his wife, Blythe of Coaldale; companion Susan E. Moyer with whom he resided; brother, Clayton Sherry of Tamaqua; sisters, Marie Elaine Hamm and her husband, Jesse of Tamaqua, Kathryn Louise Rummel-Keck and her husband, Robert Keck of Lehighton, Judith Ann Roeder of Tamaqua, Elizabeth May John and her husband, David of Tamaqua, Joan Ann Houser and her husband, Steven of Shenandoah Junction, WV, Anna Mary Heffelfinger and her husband, John of Tamaqua, Jennie Lou Kmec and her husband, Richard of Mcadoo. Many nieces and nephews also survive Tom.

William J."Billy" Kunkel, Jr., beloved father, grandfather, brother, 71 years of age of Tamaqua, Pennsylvania died on Tuesday, May 21, 2019, at Hometown Nursing & Rehabilitation Ctr. in Hometown.

Born Sunday, August 24, 1947 in Coaldale, Pennsylvania son of the late William James Kunkel, Sr. and Stella (Briggs) Kunkel. Billy was also predeceased by his wife, Jacqueline (Blair) Kunkel, his brother Frank Kunkel and by a baby girl.

Surviving are; daughters, Angela J. Clouser of Tamaqua, Tanya Fredericks, wife of Kyle of Barnesville; son, James W. Kunkel and his companion Blair Kranch of Tamaqua; brothers, Terry Kunkel and his wife Jeanette of Tamaqua, Donald Kunkel and his wife Diana of Tamaqua, Leon B Kunkel and his wife Zalane of Tamaqua, Bruce S. Kunkel of Tamaqua; sisters, Kathy J. Kunkel of Lansford, Leslie F. Kunkel and her husband, Brian Neifert of Tamaqua; 8 grandchildren, Marc, Daniel, Thrice, Jordan, Alex, Chloe, Thomas, Kamrin and 2 great grandchildren, Claire and Clayton. Many nieces and nephews also survive Billy.

Billy was employed by Ronca and worked construction all his life, providing a stable loving home for his family. He enjoyed shooting darts, and taking long walks. He was a member of the South Ward Fire Company.

A Celebration of Billy's life and a Remembrance of his wife, Jacqueline, will be held on Thursday May 30, 2019 at 7 o'clock P.M. from the funeral home. Friends may call from 5:00 P.M. until time of services.

Interment Friday May 31, 2019 at 10 o'clock A.M. Sky-View Memorial Park Tamaqua, Pennsylvania.

Janet M. "Judy" Fessler, 83, of Auburn, passed away Thursday, May 23rd, at Seton Manor, Orwigsburg.

Born in Pottsville on September 11, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Glen & Lillian (Schwalm) Miller.

She was the loving wife of Guy R. Fessler.

Judy was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ Summer Hill, Auburn.

She was formerly employed by at Capital Finance, Gold Mills, & Wright's Knittng Mill, as a receptionist.

In addition to her husband, Judy is also survived by two sons: Roger Fessler, husband of Randi, CA, and Michael Fessler, husband of Jackie, Summit Station, grandchildren: Ryne Fessler, husband of Amanda, Reisa Hardy, wife of Nick, Matthew Fessler, & Katie Fessler, eight great-grandchildren, and a sister, Eloise Shadel, Norristown.

Judy is preceded in death by her brothers: Glen Miller, & Richard Miller.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Summer Hill, Auburn, on May 30th at 11 a.m. with Pastor Kenneth McDowell officiating.

A visitation will be held from from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the Church.

Family request donations to St. Paul's United Church of Christ Memorial Fund, Auburn, PA 17922.

Interment will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
