Anna M. Bulcavage, 93, of Mahanoy City, PA, passed away Monday, June 10th, at Lehigh Valley Cedar Crest, Allentown.

Robert L "Hank" Huntzinger, age 95, of Fountain, passed away Monday, June 10, 2019 at his residence.

He was born on Thursday, April 24, 1924, in Hegins, a son of the late Erma M Huntzinger.

He served in the US Army during World War II.

Hank retired from Richmond Screw and Anchor.

He was a member of Christ United Church of Christ, Fountain.

He was also a member of American Legion Post 575, Valley View.

His wife Mary E Otto Huntzinger passed away in 2009.

He is survived by a son, Dean M Huntzinger of Pottsville; a daughter, Elizabeth H Fuqua and her husband Charles of Brighton, MI; four grandchildren, Isabella Huntzinger, Michael Huntzinger, Charles Fuqua, III, and Jeffrey Fuqua; seven great grandchildren; and a brother, Allen L Shade of Myerstown.

Funeral services will be held at Christ United Church of Christ, Fountain, on Friday, June 14, 2019, at 2:00 pm, with Rev. Michael C Klahr officiating.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Friday at the church.

Private burial with Military Honors will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.

Lawrence J "Punch" Knorr, Jr, age 70, of Hegins, passed away Monday, June 10, 2019 at Lehigh Valley Hospital- Cedar Crest, Allentown.

He was born on Wednesday, December 8, 1948, in Klingerstown, a son of the late Lawrence J Knorr, Sr and the late Betty I Kroh Knorr.

He was a 1966 graduate of Tri-Valley High School.

Punch was a for truck driver for Quaker State, Papetti's, and Michael Foods until his retirement.

Punch enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing solitaire, and relaxing on his patio.

He is survived by his wife Lucy I Klinger Knorr, to whom he was married for 51 years.

He is also survived by two daughters, Jodi L Coleman and her husband Scott of Hegins and Bonnie L Isenberg and her husband Tim of Montoursville; two grandsons, Bradley S Coleman and Brandyn L Coleman; a great granddaughter, Seraphine F Coleman; a sister, Christina L Stine and her husband Roger of Hegins; and two nieces and a nephew.

Funeral services will be held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, on Thursday, June 13, 2019, at 2:00 pm, with Rev. Curtis Zemencik officiating.

There will be no viewing or visitation prior to the service.

Burial will be made in St. Andrew's Cemetery, Valley View.

Nancy C. (Meyer) Fink, 83, Pottsville entered into eternal rest Monday at Lehigh Valley Medical Center- East.

Born September 12, 1935, in Pottsville, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Della (Gregonis) Meyer

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers Howard and Ed Meyer.

Nancy is survived by a son Jerry Fink husband of Karen; daughters Suzan Fink; Carole Davis wife of Rodney; Natalie Bachman wife of Jerry; and Beth Montgomery wife of Kevin. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home 515 West Market Street Pottsville has been entrusted with arrangements.

Andrew F. Slifko, 85, of Seltzer, Norwegian Township, passed away on Tuesday at Seton Manor.

Born in Duncott, Cass Township, he was a son of the late Frank and Mary Mathias Slifko. He attended Cass Township schools, and worked as a heavy equipment operator on highway construction. He later operated a coal delivery service.

He was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Church, Minersville. He was also a member of Big Hill Sports Club. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by a stepson, David Verchick, a grandchild, Sidney Verchick, a son-in-law, Joseph Wonchalk, Sr. The last of a family of ten, he was also preceded by nine siblings, John Slifko, Joseph Slifko, Paul Slifko, Frank Slifko, Catherine Slifko, Irene Mateichick, Anna Mae Grace, Mary Rehnert and Margaret Bono.

Surviving are his wife, the former Patricia Hashin, to whom he was married for 38 years; two children, Loretta Wonchalk, Pottsville, and Andrew F. Slifko, Jr., Pottsville; two stepsons, Gregory Verchick (spouse, Dale Cecilia), Pottsville, and Brian Verchick (spouse, Heather), Mechanicsburg; seven grandchildren, Joseph Wonchalk, Jr., Kristie Doyle, Jed and Jeremy Slifko, Andrew, Lucy and Spencer Verchick; seven great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call at Dutcavich Funeral Home, 200 Sunbury Street, Minersville, on Tuesday from 7:00 A.M. until 10:15 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11:00 A.M. in St. Michael the Archangel Church, 539 Sunbury Street, Minersville. Interment with military honors will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, East Hanover Township. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers contributions to the St. Michael Church Memorial Fund, to the St. Vincent de Paul Society Food Bank, both at 542 Sunbury Street, Minersville, PA 17954, or to Food for the Poor, 6401 Lyons Road, Coconut Creek, FL 33073.

   John E. Horst, 81, of Orwigsburg, formerly of Berks County, passed away Monday, June 10th, at Laurel Center, Hamburg.

John was born in Stouchsburg, PA on August 2, 1937, a son of the late Edna Rebecca (Bare) and John Stamm Horst.

He was the husband of Patricia A. (Frye) Horst. They married on December 29th, 1985.

He was a Graduate of Wilson High School, class of 1955 and served in the Pennsylvania Air National Guard as an Airman, 2nd Class. John was employed as a Field Engineer for National Cash Register in Reading. He retired after 30 years in 1993.

In addition to Patricia, his wife of 33 Years, John is also survived by his step daughter, Lisa, wife of Randy Kramer and his Grandchildren Peggy, Angelo, Shawn, Kassidy and Connor.

A celebration of Life Service for John will be held at Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. in Orwigsburg, on Saturday June 15th at Noon.Memorial Gathering from 11:00 AM until time of service. Interment will be private
