Just after 7:30pm, Friday, emergency personnel were dispatched to the 800 Block of Cayuga Cove inside the community of Lake Wynonah.
The fire completely consumed the home that was said to be under construction.
Responding firefighters battled the fire defensively for hours before bringing it under control.
No firefighters were said to be injured during the incident.
No word on what caused the fire.
A nearby home also suffered heat damage.
UPDATe: The cause of the fire is reported to be electrical and not suspicious.
