Eight Displaced After Fire in Oneida; Cause Under Investigation

Eight people are displaced after a fire in Oneida, East Union Township, Tuesday afternoon.


Around 5:45pm, emergency personnel were dispatched to 66 Third Street, Oneida, for a working house fire.

Upon arrival, the fire was upgraded to a 2nd alarm due to the home being the middle of a three row homes and the additional manpower was needed.

At the 20 minute par check, the fire was reported as under control.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation and we are told a domestic incident was reported at the residence before the fire.
