Lawrence A. Nothstein, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother, 86 years, of New Ringgold, Pennsylvania passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2019, at St. Luke's Hospital Bethlehem.

Born Wednesday, September 20, 1933 the son of the late Andrew and Katie E. (Kemmerer) Nothstein. He was also predeceased by his beloved wife of 66 years. on June 4, 2019, Darlene K. (Balliet) Nothstein; son, Glenn T. Nothstein; sisters, Gladys M. Bausman., Pauline Confer.

Surviving are; sons, Gary L. Nothstein of New Ringgold, Daryl W. Nothstein and his wife Terri of New Ringgold; daughters, Karen Fritzinger wife of Dennis of New Ringgold, Patricia Ann Nothstein of Tamaqua; sisters, Thelma Smith of Lehighton, Betty Nothstein of Lehighton; 10 grand children; 14 great grand children. Many nieces and nephews also survive him.

A graduate of Lehighton High School. Larry was a member of Ben Salem U.C. C. of Lehighton having served on the cemetery committee for many years. He worked at Bethlehem Steel for 38 years, retiring in 1986. Larry farmed and raised live stock on his farm in West Penn Township. During down times at the Steel Larry worked at Schaffers Lumber Yard of New Ringgold. Larry, served on the New Mahoning School House Preservation Committee.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday October 26, 2019 at 11 o'clock A.M. from Ben Salem U.C.C. 1965 Church Hill Road Lehighton, Pennsylvania 18235. Rev. Michael McGowan to officiate. Friends may call in church of Saturday morning from 9:30 A.M. until time of services.

Interment will be in Ben Salem Church Cemetery, Lehighton, Pennsylvania.

John J. "Jake" Flyzik, Jr., 79 years, of Coaldale, Pennsylvania passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 21, 2019, at home.

Born Monday, September 9, 1940 in Coaldale, Pennsylvania son of the late John Flyzik and Anna
(Molotzak) Flyzik.

Surviving are; his wife of 57 years, Georgine R. (Schneider) Flyzik; daughter, Patricia Falco wife of Andrew of Orwigsburg; brother, Michael Flyzik and his wife, Sara; sister, Anne Flyzik; grand children, Domenick, Alexander, and Anna Falco.

A 1958 graduate of Coaldale High School he matriculated to Bucknell University. For the past 20 years he served as an Adjunct Professor at L.C.C.C. teaching computer science.

John was a member of the First Congregational Church of Coaldale. He was an avid outdoors man who enjoyed hunting and fly fishing. John tied his own flies and was an amateur photographer.

Candice M. Fisher, 37, of Ringtown, PA, passed away Sunday, October 20th, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Ringtown.

Candice was born in Pottsville, on September 14, 1982, a daughter of Cecilia (Chupasco) Bolish, wife of John Bolish of Ringtown and Rick Fisher, of Zion Grove.

Candice attended the North Schuylkill High School. She was a true social butterfly and was a generous, loving and kind hearted person with a heart of gold. She was very artistic and used her hands to craft pieces of nature into art.

In addition to her parents, Candice is survived by 2 sons, Caden Lindenmuth and Bryce Lindenmuth, both at home.

She is also survived by two sisters, MIchelle, and Charles Kovacsi , of Ringtown; and Jess, wife of William Nehez, of Ringtown and a brother Michael Monahan and his wife Heather of Ringtown. Also surving are aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

No services are scheduled currently, and Candice's family would appreciate your understanding during this time.
