Mason Phillip Costenbader, infant son of Brandon Phillip & Sara A. (Stoyer) Costenbader, Orwigsburg, passed away Friday, December 20th, at Lehigh Valley Medical Center, Allentown.

In addition to his parents, Mason is survived by his maternal grandparents, Martin Stoyer, Jr. & Jennifer Stoyer, paternal grandparents, Brian Costenbader, Sr., and Tracey Langtry & her husband, Neil, aunts and uncles: Lillian, Nicholas, & Nora Stoyer, Frank Costenbader & his wife, Dianna, and Brian Costenbader, Jr. & his wife, Nicole, as well as maternal great-grandparents, Martin Stoyer Sr. & Janet Stoyer, and Susan Kanezo and paternal great-grandparents, Ruth Mengel, Peggy Zechman, & Barry Costenbader.

A visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, December 27th at Meadowbrook Center, 23 Meadowbrook Dr., Schuylkill Haven, from 5 to 8 p.m.

Bryan Scott Klinger, 57, of Valley View, passed away suddenly Saturday, December 21st.

Born in Pottsville, November 30, 1962, a son of Kathleen "Kitty" Mars Klinger, Valley View and the late Charles Klinger.

Bryan was a coal miner working for Superior Coal Company.

He was of the protestant faith; a member of the Independent Coal Miners Association and the Valley View American Legion.

Surviving are his mother Kitty Klinger and her companion, Bruce Klinger, Valley View; two brothers, Wesley Charles Klinger, Valley View and Eric William Klinger, Hegins.

No services will be held. Burial will be in St. Andrew's Cemetery, Valley View. In lieu of flowers, donations to help with expenses, can be made to the Dimon Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 644 E. Beatriz Haydee Mayorga, 74, of Shenandoah, passed away Saturday, December 21st, 2019 while a guest at the Shenandoah Manor Nursing Center.

Born in El Salvador, on January 27, 1945, she was a daughter of the late Maria Elizabeth Mayorga and Victoriano Bautista.

Beatriz was a homemaker, who enjoyed cooking and being surrounded by her family and loved ones. and enjoyed nature as well as reading the Bible. Beatriz was a member of Puerta Al Cielo Church near Mahanoy City.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Benedicto Batres of Shenandoah, and by her daughter, Evelyn, wife of Jiovanny Matos, of New York.

Beatriz is one of seven brothers and sisters, whom survive along with many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Funeral Service, which will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, December 28th, 2019 at the Stauffer-Breznik Funeral Home, 412 West Main Street in Ringtown.

A viewing will be held Friday evening from 5 - 8 PM and again on Saturday morning from 9 to 10 AM, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Beatriz will be laid to rest in the Annunciation Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights, following the funeral service.

Vincent T. Papa, Sr., 69 of Rutherford, New Jersey passed away peacefully on Friday morning, December 20, 2019 at the Shenandoah Senior Living Community.

Born in Manhattan, New York on January 22, 1950 he was a son of the late Thomas and Victoria (Castellano) Papa.

He was a graduate of the Automotive High School, Brooklyn, New York.

Prior to his retirement, he was a truck driver and mechanic for the Jersey City Incinerator Authority for almost twenty-five years and was a member of the Teamsters Union Local 641, Union, New Jersey.

Vincent was a former member of the Catholic community of Rutherford, New Jersey.

Surviving are two sons, Joseph Papa and his wife Vanessa of Shenandoah and Vincent T. Papa, Jr. of Shenandoah; three grandchildren, Kayla Marie Papa, Emily Elizabeth Papa and Michael Joseph Papa; one brother, Thomas Papa of Effort; his companion, Christine Diaz of New Jersey and cousins.

Religious services will be held on Friday, December 27, 2019 at 11:00 am at Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, 132 S. Jardin St., Shenandoah. Rev. Joan A. Brown will officiate. Interment will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights. A visitation will be held on Friday morning from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at the funeral home.

Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, Shenandoah is in charge of the arrangements.

Edward J. Morasky, 87, formerly of Black Heath, passed away early Sunday morning at the Schuylkill Center, Pottsville.

Born in Black Heath, June 7th, 1932, he was a son of the late Andrew and Anna Machick Morasky.

He was a graduate of the former Cass Twp High School Class of 1949. He was a member of the former St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Minersville and a member of St. Matthew the Evangelist Church, Minersville. He was a member of the Holy Name Society and a life member of the South Cass Citizen’s Fire Co. He was employed by the former A&P Grocery Stores and Boyer’s IGA in Schuylkill Haven. He retired from IU 29, MarLin in July 1994.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Joseph in 1941.

He survived by a brother David and his wife Diane, Primrose and numerous cousins.

Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30AM, Saturday in St. Matthew the Evangelist, 139 Spruce St., Minersville. Rev Jason F. Stokes will officiate. Relatives and friends may call on Saturday morning from 8AM to 10AM at the Donald J. Butler Funeral Home, 328 Sunbury St. Minersville. Interment will be in St. Stanislaus #1 Cemetery, Llewellyn.

Carol A. Klouser, 67, of Suedberg Rd., Pine Grove, passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2019 at home.
Born on July 17, 1952 in Pottsville, she was a daughter of Richard Staller of Schuylkill Haven and Arlene Haldeman Staller of Tremont.
Carol worked as a Seamstress for the former Canoe Mfg., Pine Grove.
Surviving are her husband of 49 years, Robert D. Klouser, Sr.; two sons, Mark Allen Staller and Robert Klouser, Jr.; three daughters, Karen Klouser, Cheryl Cleary and Victoria Morgan; two grandsons that she and Robert Sr. were raising, Josh and Hunter Morgan; and many grandchildren.
Services will be held at a later date.

Harvey K. Freeman, 86, of Pine Grove, passed away on Monday, December 23, 2019 at Seton Manor, Orwigsburg.
Born on June 19, 1933 in Summit Station, he was a son of the late Harvey C. and Cora Bressler Freeman.
He was a graduate of Cressona High School
Harvey was owner/operator of Freeman Excavating, an independent truck driver and a farmer.
He was a member of St. Mark's (Brown's) Church, Schuylkill Haven, where he served on the consistory. He was also a member of the Teamsters Union.
Preceding him in death were his wife, Annetta P. Haldeman Freeman on Feb. 2, 2019; a brother Ernest Freeman; sister Pauline Trumbo; and a nephew Scott Freeman.
Surviving are a son, Kenneth and wife Ruthann Freeman of Georgetown, TX; two daughters, Debra A. Spittler and companion Ron Salvatore of West Pittston, Sally and husband Nicholas Modesto of Pine Grove; step children, Larry and wife Pattie Krammes of Pottsville, Diane Krammes and partner Nelson Zook, Sandra and husband Tom Price, William and wife Tammy Sites, all of Pine Grove; 14 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren; a sister, Alberta Lutz of Pine Grove; a brother, Paul Freeman of Greencastle.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 30, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. from St. Mark's (Brown's) Church, 151 Summer Hill Rd., Schuylkill Haven, Pa. with Rev. Eugene Eckroth officiating. There will be a viewing on Monday, December 30, 2019 from 9:30 A.M to 11:00 A.M. at the Church. Interment will follow in the St. Mark's (Brown's) Cemetery, Schuylkill Haven.
