Hundreds of Homes Without Power Thursday Afternoon

Hundreds of homes are without power Thursday afternoon in Schuylkill County.


The high winds that began around noon Thursday have caused numerous downed trees, utility poles, and wires.

According to PPL, as of 1:20pm Thursday, over 1,300 homes are reported to be without power in the county.

West Mahanoy Township is reporting the most with 564 homes without power.  West Brunswick Township is reporting 146 homes.
