Graffiti Highway in Centralia Completely Covered in Dirt

After many weeks since the work began, Graffiti Highway in Centralia is now completely covered with dirt.


On April 6th, 2020, work began to cover up graffiti highway the spray painted highway began to draw large crowds during the COVID-19 pandemic.

This forced Pagnotti Enterprises, the owner of the land, to close "Graffiti Highway" Monday morning.

At dawn on April 6th, 2020

, crews from Fox Mining arrived at the north end to create an entrance to allow trucks to haul in dirt to cover the road.

The Pennsylvania State Police were also called in to assist keeping people away from the work being done on the property.

For several weeks it appeared as if the worked stopped but a drone flight over the highway on Thursday, May 21st, 2020 shows the road is now completely covered.

No word on if the dirt will be flattened or if the dirt will stay as is.
