John Allen Wetzel
, 19 months, of McAdoo, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2020 in the Hershey Medical Center.

Born on December 3, 2018 in Pottsville, he was a son of Clarence Wetzel Jr. and Jessica Hettler.

Surviving, in addition to his parents, are a brother Clarence Wetzel, III; sister Annabel Wetzel; grandparents, Brian and Margaret Hettler, Jo Ann and Scott Farkas, Clarence Wetzel, Sr., and Ann Gray; great grandmothers, Nancy Meiser and Nancy Wetzel, and Pattie Stevenson.

Graveside Services and interment will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at Friedens Cemetery, Hegins, with Pastor Kenny Smith officiating.

Barbara A. Zatko
, 78, of West West Terrace, Branch Township, passed away on Tuesday at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest.

Born in Schuylkill Haven, she was a daughter of the late Jacob and Theresa Lizick Woleschok. She was a 1959 graduate of Blue Mountain High School. She worked for Van Heusen in Schuylkill Haven for 21 years.

Barbara is survived by her husband, John H. Zatko. Barbara and John enjoyed their first taste of traveling on their honeymoon to Florida in 1965. They continued to travel throughout their 55-year marriage, visiting numerous places of interest in the eastern United States. There were also fond of summertime ventures to local places like Knoebel’s, Heisler’s and the Bloomsburg Fair. While they had no children, Barbara and John were especially dedicated to Barbara’s mother, caring for her until her death just a few years ago.

The oldest of nine children, she is also survived by eight siblings; Charles Woleschok, Schuylkill Haven, Virginia Fortunato, (spouse, Michael), Virginia, James Woleschok, Schuylkill Haven, Sandra Schreffler (spouse, Thomas), Orwigsburg, Joseph Woleschok, Leesport, Thomas Woleschok (spouse, Isabel), Joan Ryan (spouse, Mark), Virginia, and Theresa Muldowney (spouse, Edward), Macungie; nieces and nephews.

Donald T. Gerhart, age 67, of St. Clair, PA passed away Wednesday, July 22nd, 2020 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, East, Pottsville.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA on December 20, 1952, he was the son of the late Elmer and Alma (Davis) Gerhart.

Don was a graduate of Oliver High School in Pittsburgh, Class of 1971, where he lettered in diving. He served in the U.S. Marines Corps from October 1971 until October 1975. He worked and retired from Prysmian Draka Cableteq, USA in Schuylkill Haven.

Don was a former volunteer fireman with the Columbia Hose Company in St. Clair and an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, who regularly visited Heinz Field to see games. He also loved playing Slotomania on his smart phone, playing softball, going to the casino, and most of all, his family and grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Sandra J. (Martin) Gerhart on October 28, 2018, a brother Robert Gerhart, and a sister Alma Timko.

Don is survived by a daughter Julie A. Stone and her husband Bill, Barnesville; a son Donald T. Gerhart Jr. and his wife Laura, Palm Bay, FL; four grandchildren: Caitlin and Mitchell Stone and Lily and Liam Gerhart; a brother Ray Gerhart and his wife Sandy, Latrobe, PA; two sisters: Carol Mike and her husband Don, Bulger, PA and Lois Neely, Pittsburgh, PA; and nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Robert A. Evans Jr. Funeral Home in Port Carbon at 11AM on Saturday, August 1st, followed by military honors by the Marines and the St. Clair Veterans Honor Guard.

Relatives and Friends are invited to visit with the family on Saturday morning from 10-11AM at Robert A. Evans Jr. Funeral Home.
