During Thursday's Prison Board Meeting of the Schuylkill County Commissioners, a new prison warden was hired.
The Schuylkill County Prison Board voted to hire David Wapinsky for the position.
Wapinsky was appointed acting warden in July after previous warden Eugene Berdanier retired.
