Sandra L. Michalac, 67, of Tamaqua, PA, died on Saturday, August 22, 2020, at home. She was the wife of Fredric Michalac to whom she was married 38 and a half years. 

Born in Lancaster, PA on October 9, 1952, Sandra was a daughter of Richard and Dorothy (nee Frankford) Russell. She was a high school graduate and a member of The Parish of St. John XXIII, Tamaqua. 

In addition to her husband, Sandra is survived by sons, Dennis Wickersham and his wife, Melissa of Tamaqua, Anthony Wickersham and his wife, Rose Marie of Kelayres, PA, and Joseph Wickersham and has wife, Martha of Sugarloaf, PA; grandchildren, Kayla, Rebecca, Madison, Nathan, and Anthony Wickersham; sister, Mary Lou Kroff of Lancaster, PA; and numerous nephews and nieces. 

She was predeceased by 7 brothers and sisters. 

Services will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at the Zizelmann-Gulla Funeral Home, 500 East Broad Street, Tamaqua. Interment in Sky View Memorial Park, Hometown, PA will follow. Call 9-11 AM at the funeral home. Attendees are reminded of the COVID-19 pandemic guidelines and are kindly asked to wear a mask and observe physical distancing. Jean D. Lutwin
, beloved mother and grandmother, of Arlington Street Tamaqua, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on Friday, August 21, 2020, at Maple Shade Senior Living Center, Nesquehoning where she had been a guest for several years at 97 years of age.

Born Wednesday, April 4, 1923 in Tamaqua, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late Mary McGlinchey. Jean was also predeceased by her husband Joseph E. Lutwin on December 30, 1999.

Surviving are son, Joseph E. Lutwin of Richmond, VA,; daughter, Jeannie A. Rutch, wife of Frank of Hometown; grand children, Angela and her husband Michael, Terry, and Andrew; great grandchildren, Corey, Logan, and Donovan.

A 1942 graduate of St. Jerome High School, Jean retired from the former Atlas Powder Co, of Reynolds after 42 years having worked on the Cap Line. She was a member of St. John XXIII R.C.C. of Tamaqua, and was the oldest living member of the Marian Alumni Association.

Dawn M. Kimmel
, 78, of Tower City, passed away unexpectedly Friday, August 21st at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown.

Born in Reading, July 16, 1942, a daughter of Arthur and Mary Wagner Ritzman.

She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Tower City.

Dawn was a devoted mother and grandmother to her family. They were her pride and joy. She will be deeply missed. She enjoyed spending time with her friends at the Tower View Apartments.

In addition to her parents, Dawn was preceded in death by her husband Guy, 1998; a son, Robert Kimmel; two daughters, Teresa Neiman and Lori Laing.

Surviving are two daughters, Bonnie Readinger, Lykens and Barb Fisher, Halifax; five brothers, Jack Wagner, Mt. Joy, Arthur Ritzman, Lebanon, Carl Ritzman, Blandon, Terry and Claude Ritzman both of Pine Grove. 15 grandchildren. Numerous great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Dawn's life will be held Saturday, August 29th at 11:00 am from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc. with Rev. Maureen Duffy-Guy officiating. Visitation will be from 10:30-11 am. Burial will be private in St. Matthew's Cemetery, Fearnot. Memorial donations in Dawn's name can be made to Trinity United Church of Christ, 446 E. Gayla L. Weber, 73, of Ringtown, Pa., passed peacefully at home Thursday August 20, while under the loving care of her family.

Born in Alcoa, TN on September 10, 1946, a daughter of the late Mary Raines Overby and John Hardy Garland. As a homemaker her family always came first and brought her great joy. She was an avid gardener while taking great pleasure in music, poetry, baking and large family gatherings.

Gayla is preceded in death by her daughter, April Lyle and her sisters Sylvia Ng and Phyllis Ashley.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years Charles P. Weber, their trusted dog Rocky, her sister Grace Burton, Tennessee, and three daughters, Lisa Creel, wife of Michael, Tennessee; Kimberly Stovall, wife of Mark, Alabama; and Sylvia Milewski, wife of Jordan, Lancaster, PA; and too many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren to list individually.Services and interment will be held privately; as she will be returned to the Great Smoky Mountains that she loved so much.

Francis G. “Josh” Crepack
, 82 of Shenandoah passed away on Friday, August 21, 2020 in his apartment at the Shenandoah High Rise.

He was born on May 3, 1938 in Shenandoah and was a son of the late of John and Mary (Zahorchak) Crepack.

Francis was a graduate of the former Shenandoah Catholic High School.

Mr. Crepack was a decorated Army Veteran. He served two years in the Army in Germany and received the Sharpshooter (Rifle – M-14) and the Marksman (Pistol .45) badges.

For most of his life, he was employed as a presser at the former Bellucci Dry Cleaners, on Oak Street in Shenandoah.

Francis was a member of Divine Mercy Parish, Shenandoah and the former Saint Stephen’s Church. He very much enjoyed sharing stories about his time in the Army. He was also very active in the Greater Shenandoah Area Historical Society and was absolutely the family historian.

He is survived by his niece, Janice (Crepack) George and her husband Tommy of Collegeville; two grandnieces, Nicole Lepisto and her husband Joey of Lititz and Rebecca Gonzales and her husband Jared of Collegeville and several great grandnieces and great grandnephews.

Preceding him in death in addition to his parents were his brother, Edward Crepack and his nephew, Sgt. David Crepack.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at 10:30 am in Divine Mercy Church, 232 West Cherry Street, Shenandoah with Monsignor Ronald C. Bocian, Pastor as the celebrant. Interment with military honors will follow in Saint Michael’s Ukrainian Greek Catholic Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights. A visitation will be held on Tuesday morning from 9:30 am until 10:30 am at Divine Mercy Church. All federal and state COVID-19 guidelines will be observed.

Margaret A. Kramer, 78, of Tremont, passed away on Friday, August 21, 2020 in Berks Heim, Reading.

Born on February 6, 1942 in Tremont, she was a daughter of the late Henry W. and Anna M. Hummel Kramer.

She was a 1961 graduate of Tremont High School and was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Tremont.

Margaret worked in the Finishing Department at Tukes in Tremont.

She was a beloved daughter, sister and aunt.

Preceding her in death was a brother, Henry Kramer.

Surviving are a sister, Janice Evans of Bernville, nieces and nephews.

All Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in the Schuylkill Memorial, Schuylkill Haven.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to the St. John's Lutheran Church, 6 W. Main St. Tremont, PA 17981 in her memory.
