State Police Investigating Hit and Run in Port Carbon

The Pennsylvania State Police are looking for the driver and vehicle involved in a hit and run in Port Carbon over the weekend.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven, the incident occurred around 1:00am on Saturday, August 22nd, 2020 at the intersection of Cherry Street and Coal Street in Port Carbon.

An unknown vehicle struck a parked Kia Forte causing disabling damage.  The unknown vehicle then fled the scene.

Troopers were unable to find any surveillance of the incident and are asking for anyone with information on the incident, the vehicle involved, or the driver, should contact the Schuylkill Haven Barracks at (570) 754-4600 and reference PA2020-1168300.
