Fire Crews Respond to Fully Involved Garage Fire in Ashland Tuesday Morning

 A garage was destroyed by fire Tuesday morning in Ashland.

At 8:00am, Tuesday, emergency personnel were called to the 900 Block of Brock Street for a garage fire.  Ashland Police were the first on-scene and changed the location to the rear of the home on Spruce Street.

As fire crews arrived, the garage was fully engulfed in flames.

The fire was extinguished within 10 minutes containing the damage to just the garage.

Responding to the scene were the American Hose Co., Washington Fire Company and Ambulance, and the Rangers Hose Company from Girardville.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation with a State Police Fire Marshal being called.
